Hello, I have problem on cisco vpn client connects normaly but user can't t access anything the problem appear only on this laptop but when the same acccess the vpn via any other laptop it is working without any problems i checked every thing win 7 firwall vpn servise, tried to uni. ASA is not handling DHCP cause there is a domain controller doing it, which is also the main DNS for the corp network. AnyConnect configured via wizard. I'm able to connect and estabilish a VPN and getting the IP assigned by the ASA static). DNS and gateway are correctly assigned (ipconfig). However there is no way to access the network. Whenever Cisco Anyconnect connects successfully to a network, it will automatically open a command prompt window in the background, silently pinging google.com to receive replies back, thus allowing Network & Sharing Center to detect internet access, and resolve the yellow exclamation. Apr 11, 2012 I have a remote Windows 7 system that connects to the VPN but cannot access the network. All other users at this location are working fine. I have removed the client and reinstalled but still no network access. I am not sure what else to check. The Firewall is a Cisco ASA.
I use Cisco AnyConnect on my Windows 7 computer to make VPN connections. It also has capability to connect to WiFi. But I always had problems in connecting toWiFi with AnyConnect. Connection drops frequently and it keeps saying ‘Acquiring IP address‘.
AnyConnect installs a service called ‘Network Access Manager‘ which seems like takes over the native Windows WiFi connecting client. So when I click on the network icon in the System tray it says ‘No connections are available'(See below snapshot). Without AnyConnect, it always displays the WiFi connections available.

AnyConnect has settings to disable the NAM feature. But that did not work for me. Even after disabling NAM service, I could not connect to WiFi. Windows network icon shows the WiFi connection but gives the error ‘Windows was not able to connect to…‘. I followed the below steps to do this.
