Apr 23, 2020 By Crystal Dew World CrystalDiskMark is a disk benchmark software. It measure sequential reads/writes speed, measure random 512KB, 4KB, 4KB (Queue Depth=32) reads/writes speed, select test data. DiskMark is a small utility that allows you to benchmark your disks and hard drives performance. It allows you to specify many advanced options to determine how your drives perform best and to determine the typical operating performance.

CrystalDiskMark is a small tool that allows you to carry out different tests on the drives of your computer to check the performance when it has to read or write data.
Users can decide the number of tests they want to do, the size (in megabytes) of the test, and the drive they want to test.
The tests made by CrystalDiskMark check the reading and writing capabilities sequentially, in blocks of 512 kilobytes and other smaller ones of 4 kilobytes.
If you decide to do more than one test, CrystalDiskMark will calculate the average reading/writing velocity between all the tests you do.
The result of CrystalDiskMark's tests allow you to detect possible bottlenecks and see if replacing the disk is necessary.

Hi all,
I have a Samsung 840 EVO 120G SSD, and my CrystalDiskMark results are the following:
The problem is that I don't know what these categories mean (except Seq Read / Write). So I have 3 questions:
1. What do Seq Q32T1 / 4K Q32T1 / 4K mean?
2. What are the equivalents for these in the SSD's specification or how can I calculate them (if there isn't an exact match)?
3. What values would be normal according to the specs?
Thanks,
hazazs
