It was 25 years ago yet people are still fascinated by the Monica Lewinsky/Bill Clinton tryst, and a new memoir has put Lewinsky back in the spotlight as it uncovers more sordid details of their relationship.

Monica Lewinsky, the former White House intern who infamously had an affair with then-President Bill Clinton, once grabbed his genitals in a crowd and bent over to flash her thong at him, according to a memoir written by Linda Tripp, Lewinsky's former colleague in the Pentagon’s public affairs office.

The former White House intern, Lewinsky, now 47, was only 23 when she embarked on a sexual relationship with the then 42nd President from 1995 to 1997.

Speaking in 1998 to her former friend and Pentagon confidante, Linda Tripp, Lewinsky revealed more shocking details about some very public touching and flirting while the eyes of the world were on them.

An excerpt from Linda Tripp’s newly released memoir; ‘A Basket of Deplorables – What I Saw Inside the Clinton White House’ was published in the New York Post which describes a party held in August 1996 for Clinton where Lewinsky said she ‘squeezed Bill’s private parts’ in a packed Radio City.

Lewinsky explained to Tripp months later that she had cleverly gotten into a position to ‘Give the big ‘He’ a little love massage’.

She went on to say ‘You absolutely won’t believe this but I squeezed his balls right in the middle of throngs of people’.

Tripp said that the saddest part of the whole thing was that Lewinsky was ‘grinning from ear to ear and positively beaming’ after returning from her trip to the NY party that included over 5,000 VIP guests.

Lewinsky confided that she felt the groping of his genitals cemented the relationship with them both and that there was now an understanding of sorts.

Tripp said there was more besides, she said that Lewinsky once bent over in full view of colleagues and hiked up her dress to show Clinton her thong.

Despite their friendship, Tripp began secretly recording any phone calls she had with Lewinsky in 1998 and she then handed the tapes to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr.

Tripp died last April but even on her death-bed she is making waves as her memoir has already hit bookshops in the US to rave reviews.

Thanks to Tripp’s detective work the revelations caused huge shockwaves and in a now infamous televised speech, Clinton claimed he did not have sexual relations with Lewinsky.

The 1998 investigation still led to perjury and impeachment by the House of Representatives.
